In unserem Hochschulzentrum für Plastische und Ästhetische, Hand- und Wiederherstellungschirurgie gibt es eine kontinuierliche Forschung, die darauf abzielt, die Sicherheit und Wirksamkeit von Verfahren wie Brustvergrößerungen, Brustverkleinerungen, Brustrekonstruktionen und Bruststraffungen zu verbessern.
Ein Schwerpunkt der brustchirurgischen Forschung ist die Entwicklung neuer Techniken und Instrumente, um bessere Ergebnisse bei minimalen Narben zu erzielen. Die brustchirurgische Forschung konzentriert sich auch auf die Sicherheit und Haltbarkeit von Brustimplantaten, die Technologie der 3D-Bildgebung zur Planung von Operationen, die Identifizierung von Risikofaktoren für Komplikationen nach der Operation und die Analyse der Patientenzufriedenheit.
